The Health Information Project has both nonfiction and fiction books – teen-focused, high interest and on a wide variety of topics on health and social issues.

The nonfiction books are listed by subject and, with your MHLS  library card, may be taken out directly from the library where they are located or sent to the Mid-Hudson Library System library of your choice using Request-a-Title.

The fiction books are located in Health Information Center libraries in Beacon, Catskill, Coxsackie, East Fishkill, Garrison, Greenville, Hudson, Kent, Kinderhook, Kingston, LaGrange, Mahopac, Milton, NorthEast-Millerton, Pawling, Philmont, Plattekill, the Town of Esopus and the Town of Ulster. You can go to these libraries to browse the collection and take out the books with your MHLS library card. All  books are identified by a yellow spine label featuring our Project logo.
