Need a video to support your curriculum and to facilitate class discussion? Our videos focus on teen health and social issues in support of positive youth development and the NYS Learning Standards and Core Curriculum. They have public performance rights and are useful for classroom teachers as well as for social workers and substance abuse prevention counselors. Project DVDs contain current, accurate information and work well as starting points for follow-up discussion. In addition, they help with student research assignments and presentations.

Enhance your curriculum by borrowing Health Information Project videos and nonfiction books from your library and by directing your students to the teen reviewed/adult approved websites.

Need information that will help you and your teen deal with a social issue or relationship? Our video and nonfiction book pages provide strategies on a wide variety of issues that affect teens. Any title on these pages will provide useful guidance for parents. On these pages there are DVDs and nonfiction books that are meant specifically for parents or that focus on general health issues. To find these titles, select a topic area and browse through the list.

This site highlights teen-reviewed and recommended videos, books and websites with a focus on teen health and social issues and substance abuse prevention. All materials can be borrowed for free with a Mid-Hudson Library System library card.
