How to Check Your Record/Renew Titles

You can use your library card to Check Your Record//Renew Your Items over the Internet. With this feature you may

• see the list of items you have out on loan or have requested
• renew materials
• request multiple books, videos or other materials
  

  

  1. Go to the main page of the library online catalog.

  2. Click the Check My Record or Renew My Items button and log in using your library card number and the PIN you created.

  3. Click the Submit button.

  4. Here you have several options:

  • Click on Modify your PIN to change your password.
    
    
  • Click on Modify Personal Information to change your phone and email contact information.
    
    
  • Click on Items currently checked out to view the status of materials you have borrowed. Click on a button to SORT BY DUE DATE, on another button to RENEW ALL for changing the due date on all your borrowed items, or place a check in the boxes next to specific titles you want to renew and then click on RENEW SELECTED ITEMS.
    
    
  • Click on Requests (holds) outstanding to check the status of the requests you placed previously or to cancel requests for items you no longer want.
    
    
  • Click Search the Catalog to find books and other materials in your library or in other libraries in the Mid-Hudson Library System. When you locate an item to borrow, click on the title to view owning libraries, call number and shelf status. The CALL # tells you where in the library the item is located, and STATUS tells you whether it is checked in.

    If the item is not available in the desired pick-up location, click on and follow the procedure for Request-a-Title.
    
    Click Regular Display to continue searching.
    
    LOG OUT when you are finished.
