MyPyramid.gov: Steps to a Healthier You
Healthier eating is a necessity in everyone's lives and this website gives interactive tools to make it become easier, like the "Menu Planner" and "My Pyramid Tracker; " has a section for ALL age groups; website has cool games.
TeensHealth
Covers
a wide variety of topics and gives great information about everything; clear and easy to understand; I would look on this site on my own! very easy to browse; also in Spanish.
Above the Influence (from National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign)
Lots of useful information about alcohol and drugs and the consequences of using them; comes packed with videos, helpful information and games wrapped in one appealing package that will keep some on for a few hours; encourages anti-drug ways to spend your time and make your life productive.
AVERT: AVERTing HIV and AIDS
Informs teens on the prevention, spreading and affects of STD's; can help teens understand what HIV/AIDS is, how to test for it and how it is treated; also can learn about the history of HIV/AIDS; incredibly factual, but younger kids may not be interested in stats.
Center for Young Women's Health: Health Information for Young Girls Around the World
Important for girls to have a place where they can go and learn about topics that relate just to them; liked the tips it gave and the questions to ask your doctor; design was eye-catching.
Teen Growth
Covers many different health topics; focuses on questions asked by real teens and has lots of detailed info; good for both genders and good design; an awesome site that is easy to navigate.
Teen Talk (Planned Parenthood)
Detailed information on teenage dating, bodily health, mental experiences, sexual intercourse, safe sex, birth control and pregnancy, etc; GREAT VIDEOS! - these are what we should watch in health class; straight-forward information that is written in an easy-to-understand language.
CareerZone
Good for career exploration and for preparing to get a job; job descriptions very detailed; has an evaluation test to help decide what jobs are right for you; also shows colleges that offer skills (training) needed to work in a specific field; has videos to show what some jobs would be like.

Has the answers to your toughest questions about one of life's most uncomfortable topics, and has tons of information on it; shows every side to each decision teens have to make along the way; has many definitions of sexual terms and a lot of FAQ's; I like the quizzes page; has what a website needs to be great.
Young Men's Health
An amazing site for teenage guys; detailed information on everything from acne problems to sexual relationships to nutrition and fitness; there aren't enough sites like this devoted to young men's health; definitely a must.
